The complete piece — firework cut top and flat back labret bar together, ready to wear. A 5mm CZ held in four prongs, with faceting that radiates outward from the center in a starburst pattern rather than the usual brilliant arrangement, so light breaks up across the stone in lines instead of a single flash.

At 5mm this is one of the largest single stones we carry — noticeably bigger than a standard 3mm or 4mm CZ, and meant to be the piece your eye goes to. The prong setting lifts it clear of the ear so light reaches it from every side.

The flat disc back is why piercers reach for this style. It lies flush against the skin instead of pressing in like a ball back, which makes it far more comfortable to sleep on and less likely to irritate a piercing that's still settling.

Sizing: the length you need depends on the piercing and how much tissue the bar passes through. 6mm and 8mm cover most ears — 6mm for lobes and snug cartilage placements, 8mm where there's more tissue or any swelling. If you're between sizes on a newer piercing, size up; you can always downsize once it settles.

A note on size: at 5mm this stone sits wider than most. It suits lobes and roomier cartilage placements better than tight spots like a snug helix, and it needs a little clearance around it in an ear stack.
