Collection: Nose Hoops

A hoop changes how a nostril piercing reads. A stud sits quietly; a hoop draws a line around the nostril and makes the piercing part of your face rather than a detail on it.

This collection covers our nostril hoops: seamless rings with no visible join, hinged clickers that snap shut, and captive rings held by a bead.

Diameter is the number to get right, and it is the one most people misjudge. Hoop diameter is measured on the inside of the ring, so the piece sits larger than the number suggests — an 8mm hoop measures around 10mm across the outside. Too small and it pulls the nostril inward; too large and it hangs away from the face and catches on everything.

Hoops suit healed piercings better than healing ones. A nostril takes 3 to 6 months, and during that window a hoop rotates and drags through a channel that is still forming. A flat back stud is the piece for that period.

They also catch more than studs do — on towels, on sleeves, on a jumper coming off. A snugger diameter takes far less abuse than one with room to swing.

Everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136 — nickel-free and safe to wear long term.
