Plain Hinged Hoops

A plain hoop is the most versatile piece you can own. No stone, no detail, nothing that dates it — it goes with everything and never looks like it was chosen for a particular outfit. It is also the piece most people end up wearing daily after trying something more decorative.

This collection is our undecorated hinged hoops: a segment swings open and clicks shut, in a smooth polished finish with no gems or charms.

Plain has a practical advantage as well as a visual one. There are no prongs or raised settings to catch on hair, pillowcases or a sweater pulled over your head. Smooth surfaces are also easier to keep clean, which matters for anything worn around the clock.

Diameter is measured on the inside of the ring, so the hoop sits larger than its number — an 8mm hoop at 16G measures around 10.4mm across the outside. If your current hoop leaves a mark or sits at an odd angle, it is too small for your anatomy rather than the wrong style.
