Collection: 14G (1.6mm)

14G (1.6mm) is the thickest gauge we carry and the standard for industrial barbells, nipple piercings, tongue piercings and most navel jewelry. It is not used in the ear outside of an industrial, and it is never a substitute for a thinner gauge — going up means stretching, which is a separate process.

This collection covers our 14G range: straight barbells for industrials and nipples, curved barbells for navels, hoops and threadless tops.

Length matters more at 14G than anywhere else, because the placements are ones that swell and move. An industrial runs through two points of cartilage and needs a bar long enough to span both without pressure. A navel sits in an area that bends constantly. Too short and the jewelry presses into the tissue; too long and it catches and levers.

These are also the slowest placements to heal. An industrial or nipple takes 6 to 12 months, and a navel 8 to 12. Material matters for the whole of that window, so everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136 — nickel-free and safe in a healing piercing.

Our 16G vs 14G guide covers how to tell which you have. Browse barbells and belly rings, step down to 16G, or see the full titanium range.
