Collection: Nose Studs

A nose stud is the quieter choice. It sits flat against the nostril rather than wrapping around it, which is why most people start here and why plenty never move on to a hoop.

This collection covers every stud style we carry: screws with a curled tail, L-bends, flat back labret studs and threadless tops, in 20G and 18G.

The styles are not equally secure, and that matters more than looks if yours keeps disappearing. A screw or an L-bend stays in by catching the inside of the nostril, and that grip fails the moment the jewelry rotates — which is why they go missing. A flat back labret has a disc that cannot pass back through the piercing. It is the most secure option here and the one piercers use for fresh nostrils.

Screws are also the most commonly mis-inserted piece in body jewelry. They go in with a rotation, not a push, and a half-seated screw feels like it is in when it is not.

Gauge matters too. Most nostrils are 18G or 20G, and a piece thinner than your piercing sits loose and works its way out. Everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136.
