Most piercing jewelry is marketed to women, which leaves a lot of men guessing. The mechanics are identical — a helix is a helix — but the pieces that get chosen, and the sizes that read right, are different.
This collection is the plain end of our range: flat back labret studs, small hoops, septum clickers, barbells and threadless tops in silver-tone, black and gold titanium. No stones, nothing that dangles.
Two things make a piercing look intentional rather than accidental. Correct gauge, which is set by the piercing and not by preference — 16G for cartilage, 14G for industrial and nipple, 18G or 20G for nostrils and lobes. And smaller than your first instinct: a low-profile stud or a snug hoop reads sharper than something oversized, and catches on far less.
If you train, wear a hard hat, or have headphones on for hours, a threadless flat back is the piece to own. Nothing protrudes to snag, and there is no thread to work loose during the day.
Everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136 — nickel-free, and lighter than the surgical steel most inexpensive men's jewelry is made from.
