Gold Nose Rings

Gold reads warmer against skin than silver-tone and tends to disappear into the face rather than stand out from it. For a nostril piercing — small, central, worn constantly — that is usually the point.

The gold tone is applied over implant-grade titanium rather than being solid gold. That keeps the metal against your tissue nickel-free, which matters in a nostril — the channel is narrow, the jewelry sits in it all day, and a nostril takes 3 to 6 months to heal. The base is ASTM F-136 throughout.

If your nose jewelry keeps going missing, style matters more than colour. Screws and L-bends hold by catching the inside of the nostril, and that grip fails when the piece rotates. A flat back labret has a disc that cannot pass back through the hole.

Gold also works best matched. If you wear gold elsewhere, a gold nose stud ties it together; if everything else you own is silver-toned, it can look disconnected.
