Collection: Conch Piercing Jewelry

The conch sits in the large flat centre of the ear, and it is the thickest cartilage most people will pierce. That thickness changes what fits — a bar sized for a helix is often too short for a conch on the same person.

This collection covers our conch jewelry: flat back labret studs in longer post lengths, hinged hoops in larger diameters, and threadless tops.

Post length is the thing to get right. Pressure from an undersized bar is one of the more common reasons a conch takes longer than it should, and jewelry that is too short can embed. A correctly sized post leaves a small amount of visible bar between the disc and the skin.

A conch heals in 6 to 9 months. During that window a flat back stud is the better choice — a hoop rotates and drags through a channel that is still forming. Once it has settled, hoops sit well here, and a larger diameter reads deliberate rather than tight.

Everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136, in 16G. If your current piece presses into the skin or leaves an indentation when you take it out, it is too short for your anatomy rather than the wrong style.
