Collection: 20G (0.8mm)

20G (0.8mm) is the thinnest gauge in common use and the most frequent starting size for a nostril piercing. It is also standard for earlobes. It is not used for cartilage — a helix, conch, tragus or daith needs 16G, and a 20G post is too thin to sit correctly in one.

This collection covers everything we carry in 20G: nose studs and screws, L-bends, small hoops, seamless rings, flat back labret studs and threadless tops.

If your jewelry keeps falling out, gauge is worth checking before anything else. A 20G piece in an 18G piercing sits loose in the channel and works its way free — that is one of the most common reasons nostril jewelry goes missing.

Everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136 — nickel-free and safe in a healing piercing. A nostril heals in 3 to 6 months, and an earlobe in 1 to 2.

Our 18G vs 20G guide covers how to tell which you have. Browse 20G nose rings specifically, step up to 18G or 16G, or see the full titanium range.
