Collection: 18G Nose Rings

18G (1.0mm) is the thicker of the two nostril gauges. Some piercers use it as standard, and plenty of people move up to it over time because a slightly heavier post sits more securely and is easier to handle.

This collection covers everything we carry for nostrils in 18G: studs, screws, L-bends, hoops, seamless rings and flat back labret studs.

If you are not sure which gauge you are, the difference is small enough to be hard to see and large enough to matter. A piece thinner than your piercing sits loose and works its way out; a piece thicker will not go in without stretching, which is a separate process with its own healing time.

18G also turns up in earlobes. It is not used for cartilage — a helix, conch, tragus or daith needs 16G.

A nostril heals in 3 to 6 months. Everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136 — nickel-free and safe to wear through it.

Our 18G vs 20G guide covers how to tell which you have. Browse 20G nose rings, all nose jewelry, or everything in 18G.
