Collection: 18G (1.0mm)

18G (1.0mm) sits between the thin 20G used for most starter nostrils and the 16G standard for cartilage. It is the common size for nostril piercings done by a professional piercer, and it also turns up in earlobes and some cartilage placements.

This collection covers everything we carry in 18G: nose studs and screws, L-bends, hinged hoops, seamless rings, flat back labret studs and threadless tops.

If you are not sure whether your nostril is 18G or 20G, the difference is small enough to be hard to see but large enough to matter. A piece thinner than your piercing sits loose in the channel and works its way out; a piece thicker will not go in at all without stretching.

Everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136 — nickel-free and safe to wear in a healing piercing. A nostril takes 3 to 6 months to heal fully.

Our 18G vs 20G guide covers how to tell which you have, and the nose ring size guide covers length and diameter. Browse 18G nose rings specifically, step down to 20G, up to 16G, or see the full titanium range.
