16G Clicker Rings

A clicker is the easiest hoop to put in and take out. A hinged segment swings open, and when it comes back round the post seats into its socket with an audible click — no bead to lose, nothing to unscrew.

This collection is every clicker we carry in 16G, the standard gauge for cartilage: plain, gem-set and decorative, for helix, daith, conch, rook and septum.

Diameter is the number that decides fit. It is measured on the inside of the ring, so the hoop sits larger than its stated size — thicker cartilage needs more inner diameter, not a heavier gauge.

Two things to know about the mechanism. Clickers open to roughly ninety degrees; forcing one further stretches the hinge, and a sprung hinge no longer holds the segment on its arc. And if one stops closing, the cause is usually debris in the socket rather than a fault — soak it in warm water, clean the notch gently, and close it along the curve of the ring rather than squeezing the ends together.

Everything here is implant-grade titanium, ASTM F-136. Cartilage takes 6 to 12 months to heal depending on placement, and hoops suit settled piercings better than healing ones.
